Rio gets ready to face Australia
Street decoration in Rua Barão da Torre, Ipanema
After a nervous but successful start against Croatia on Tuesday 13th, Brazil is now getting ready to face Australia.
The community gathered in various places to watch the first game. The Paissandú Club in Leblon was full of cheering members, and the Lord Jim Pub in Ipanema also had a good turnout.
Street decoration is not as widespread as in previous Copas, but our wandering photographer found one enthusiastic block of the Barão da Torre in Ipanema.
If you know of any well decorated streets, send a photo in to UmbrellaRio, via the link to the photo competition on the homepage, and we'll publish them in a special World Cup photo gallery.
